Lisa Adrian was born and raised in southern Wisconsin. As a young child, Lisa was already enthralled with music. The rhythm of words, melodies and the way sounds fit together drew her mind again and again. She grew up singing, playing the piano and viola; enjoying every chance to play for others she could find, which included jazz band, choir, orchestra, working as an accompanist and playing in church. In college, she studied music performance on the viola, graduating with a BA in both music and German. When sickness flooded in and she had to lay down her viola for good, Lisa was devastated. Out of the trouble, though, she found a new way to express herself. She started to write songs about what she had gone through; about the hard times and the hope that she has in God. As the years go by, Lisa learns more and more about living with chronic pain, but always finding God and His blessings in the midst of it. Lisa’s songs tell her story, one that can encourage anyone experiencing the pain that comes with life.
Lisa's strength lies in her ability to set audiences at ease through her peaceful spirit and hope-filled music; pointing everything to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. She is a singer/songwriter and speaker for Christian events combining both elements in her presentations in a format that is clear to understand, hopeful in its essence, and Christ-honoring in its subject matter.
Lisa is able to relate to the experiences of many people she speaks to. It is through her personal experience of loss and redemption that she ministers to those to whom she is presenting. She is ready to remind people that they are truly treasured by the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that God is there in all situations if we open our eyes to His presence.
